Sandy Black
The Best-Selling Book Author That Captivates and Inspires
“BUT – the best is yet to come!” says Sandy about her newest book, ‘The Little Boy With The Red Suspenders. You Can Touch Me, I Don’t Bite’ which introduces, “Milo”, the one-eyed, 3-legged cat who helps tell the real stories of those with special needs. It will make you laugh, make you cry, and even perhaps give a different lens with which to view people who are truly ‘special’ and not so different after all.

The Little Boy With the Red Suspenders. You can Touch Me, I Don't Bite
‘The Little Boy With The Red Suspenders. You Can Touch Me, I Don’t Bite’ is more than a book. It’s a deeply personal window into a childhood full of questions, quiet strength, and small moments that carried big weight. This page reflects on their journey.
It tells the story of two children who stood out in more ways than one. Beyond the red suspenders and the long blonde hair were two young people learning to make sense of an often unkind world, of it’s people, and the ‘why’s’ about themselves. Some memories are lighthearted and others heavy on the heart. ALL of them are real.
This space is meant to give you an insight into the heart of the story. Whether you are here out of curiosity or connection, thank you for reading with care.
